Aluminium brazing

Aluminium brazing

Brazing of al+al, with other metals: copper - brass - stainless steel

DENOMINATION: AURALL TOP TEC AL CU 40 (neutral flux)

Ternary alloy animated with special neutral flux which allows brazing between aluminum-aluminum and other metals such as copper, brass and stainless steel.

Alloy free from cadmium, lead and antimony. Very easy to use thanks to its low ligament point combined with maximum fluidity.

SOURCES OF HEAT: oxy-gas flame, oven, induction. The deposit has a watertight seal and high corrosion resistance.

TECHNIQUE: place the tip of the wand on the surface, melt a drop, then quickly move the flame on the joint to make the filler metal flow and penetrate, avoiding overheating.

The elimination of deoxidiser residues (neutral and non-corrosive deoxidiser) to be carried out after welding, will be obtained using hot water or alcohol.

MAIN APPLICATIONS: alloy used in brazing heterogeneous joints, such as aluminium-copper, aluminium-brass, aluminium-stainless steel, in the automotive industry, refrigeration, bodywork etc.

TECHNICAL DATA:

  • binding temperature 440-180 ° C
  • elongation (L = 5d): 15%
  • tensile strength: 100-130 N / mm2

PACKAGING AND DIAMETERS:

  • gr. 100 Ø 1,5-2-3x500mm
  • gr. 250 Ø 1,5-2mm coiled wire
  • gr. 1000
